Herbal remedies have been used, as long as humans have been around. With so many different herbs that can be used to benefit our health, it can be hard to figure out what should be used, what is safe for consumption and what the best options are for our bodies. Herbs can help so many different ailments, such as migraines, stress, and milk supply, reducing one’s risk for cancer and Alzheimer’s disease. They can also be used to boost immune systems, give us extra energy, and can even be used as a preventative measure for overall health. But with so much information online and in books, it can be hard to figure out what should be used, what may not work well, or what could be expected for side effects. Some herbs could even have negative reactions with other medications or may not be safe to take while pregnant or nursing. With all of these different factors, where to begin with alternative medicine can be overwhelming. But there is help locally, in the way of an herbal consultation. How does it work? The initial consultation is approximately 40mins, at this time, we will discuss diagnosis, goals, nutrition, medicines, and any other pertinent details. Next, you will receive an email with an herbal plan of care with a free follow up 30 minute consultation to review your plan via Zoom or in person.
